About the job

About Secolve and OT-SAT

Secolve is one of Australia’s most exciting cyber security startups, specialising in operational technology (OT) security. We work with critical infrastructure and industrial organisations across water, energy, food manufacturing and mining, protecting the systems that keep nations running.

OT-SAT is our purpose-built OT security awareness training platform, delivering outcome-based cyber security education for the people who operate, manage and secure industrial environments. From frontline operators to C-suite executives, OT-SAT is closing the human security gap in critical infrastructure, one of the most underserved and urgent challenges in global cyber security today.

We are now expanding internationally across the United States, Europe and the United Kingdom and are building an Advisory Board of exceptional industry leaders to help guide and accelerate that growth.

The Opportunity

This is an invitation to join a small, select group of senior leaders and industry experts who believe that securing the OT workforce is one of the most important challenges of our time.

As an OT-SAT Advisory Board member, you will play a meaningful role in shaping the strategic direction of a fast-growing platform with genuine global potential, bringing your expertise, networks and perspective to help us grow, improve and expand into new markets.

Who We Are Looking For

We are seeking expressions of interest from senior leaders and specialists across a range of backgrounds including:

  • Critical infrastructure operators and executives — water, energy, oil and gas, manufacturing, transport and utilities
  • OT and industrial cyber security professionals — with deep technical or strategic expertise in securing operational environments
  • C-suite and business leaders — CEOs, COOs and MDs with experience scaling technology businesses internationally
  • Marketing and growth leaders — with experience in B2B SaaS, eLearning or cyber security markets across the US, EU or UK
  • Regulatory and policy experts — with knowledge of critical infrastructure frameworks such as NERC CIP, NIS2, IEC 62443 or the UK CNI frameworks
  • Learning and development professionals — with expertise in eLearning, workforce training and behaviour change at scale
  • Investors and venture advisors — with experience in cyber security, SaaS or critical infrastructure technology

What the Role Involves

Advisory Board membership is a flexible, low time commitment role designed to fit around your existing responsibilities. You can expect:

  • Quarterly advisory sessions, virtual or in person
  • Ad hoc input on strategy, product, market expansion and partnerships
  • Access to the OT-SAT platform and team
  • Opportunity to contribute to thought leadership and industry conversations around OT security awareness

What You Will Get

  • A genuine seat at the table of a fast-growing, globally relevant OT security platform
  • Early visibility into the OT-SAT roadmap and international expansion strategy
  • Connection to a growing global network of OT security professionals, operators and policymakers
  • The opportunity to make a tangible impact on how the world’s critical infrastructure workforce is trained and protected
  • Advisory remuneration, details discussed with shortlisted candidates

Why Now

The OT security awareness gap is one of the most pressing challenges facing critical infrastructure globally. Regulatory frameworks including NIS2 in Europe, NERC CIP in the United States and the SOCI Act in Australia are placing increasing obligations on operators to train and uplift their workforce. Yet the tools to do this at scale, and specifically for OT environments, have been largely absent.

OT-SAT is changing that. And we are looking for the right people to help us take it to the world.

Express Your Interest

If you are a senior leader, industry expert or specialist who shares our belief that the human element of OT security is critical and you want to help shape a platform that is making a real difference, we would love to hear from you.
